Smile Photography

Everything in photography does not have to be serious. Some of the best stories bring a smile.

For this image, I had to stand on a wall on my tippy toes and catch a glimpse in the view finder. I’m glad it turned out. It brings a smile to me every time I see it, remembering the strange contortions on that morning in Charleston.

Yoko Ono suggests we smile in the mirror. “Do that every morning and you’ll start to see a big difference in your life,” she says.

A smile may even effect our images.

“Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful,” saya Thich Nhat Hanh. It may even be worth reading some humorous saying before going out with the camera.

How about a caption for this image, taken impromptu, when our tour guide came looking for me as the bus was waiting.
Are you smiling yet? Or is it a frown because of bad boy Bobbie. 😦
Honest, I just lost track of time!!

Just a bit of posture. Sometime my wife gives me that look…
