Developing ability to use our equipment happens by USING IT A LOT. Knowing how to make a sharp image, begs the question when do we make a soft image and why. Using the tool to “speak,” so to say, offers many opportunities.
One is to create an image to tell a story. In our examples here, the fishermen in one image become the story. In the other image, they become part of a wider message, to show that the body of water is one for fishing. If we eliminate the fishermen from the second image it changes the message. We have become the artist and our work becomes our voice.
