Video of Elk Rut – Lots of bugeling

Using opportunities in nature to shake down my techniques, here is a video made with the new Velbon Fluid Head on my Tripod. The Camera is a Sony a6000 with 55-210mm kit lens. I was close to my car’s trunk and the first Big Guy passed about 20′ in front of me, and  exited the field after another Big Guy entered. That guy really stared me down, but I would have been ready to exit if he made any aggressive moves toward me.

The first part of the clip is the first Big Guy and a younger bull sparring. His antler is broken and he has a tracking collar on. The park service biologists still track for research after their introducing them in 2001. Enjoy and don’t forget to follow and /or comment.
