When the camera is out, wildlife perform, it seems. Makes no difference if it a video or still. As popular story teller Bob Krist says, “A still exposure is still an exposure.”
The camera used for this work is a Sony a6000, with the Sony 55-210 kit lens, only this time I have added a directional mike. This mike overcomes any incidental noise from the camera itself, during the focusing or zooming process. It’s a Sony ECMGZ1M Gun Zoom sold by Vadget $89.95 at Amazon.
Of course the Fluid head described in the prior blog and Benro Tripod complete the shooting platform. I’m impressed with the way the Sony a6000 still provides detail in the prancing elk, even though the Early morning background light on the grass is so bright.
bro BOB!!! love the prancing elk video! I want to jump right in and dance with them! Hugs, Linda
