Yesterday morning we had wonderful mist around our local lake – Lake Junaluska
The light was incredible and getting better. So I did a lot of shooting… But we also had some light rain, the kind that can get you wet without seeming to be there. So, unless you camera is weather sealed and my walk around outfit – a Nikon d90 with an 18-200mm lens – isn’t, I chose a camera bag that allows me easy access of my equipment. My choice is my MindShift rotation 180 panorama backpack because it’s sooooo comfortable and the camera is right there without taking the pack off. Click on this link for a demonstration on the different features of bags. My “go to” walk around is the Panorama. If I need more capacity, the 180 Pro fits the bill. If in this area, Lake Junaluska is 30 min from Asheville, the birdlife here includes

migratory including ducks, coot, canada & snow geese a as well mute swan as permanent residents. Distance around is about 2 miles so the light is always changing.

There is special place, Corneille Bryant Native Garden, off the Rose Walk with over 500

species of native flora.
