Best time for photography?

What is the best time for photography?

It Depends. Sorry – I’m not trying to fudge on this issue; but, this morning about 6:30 with temperature at 19° I had an itch. By 7AM I was out the door.

Here is first light, Lake Junaluska.

And that was nice, but after a dry run at Eagles Nest – too high, too bright, I went exploring. What I found was a hidden section of the Waynesville Greenway. How ideal that would be for some Cross Country Skiing with a little more snow of course. It meanders along Richland Creek which feeds Lake Junaluska.

Later that day Carol, I and Taco headed back over there – Temp 39° . On our way back we were treated to a pair of Mute Swans, tooling along with the current and making a striking wake.

More on that later, but getting back to the question Best time… when the mood strikes one – that is my best answer. Now, for a treat and a whole lot more information head on over to Darlene’s site Want to take better photos? Time of Day Matters
