This morning it snowed.

A Day of Thanksgiving…
In this country a special celebration takes place the third Thursday of November of each year. It commemorates one of the first settlements in what was later to become the United States of America.
I mention this, because, I’m not aware of this in other countries – a special day set aside to give thanks for our Blessings. If your country does something special like this I would love to hear from you.
Here’s what one of my cousins said on this day… “I am thankful when I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago that it wasn’t a heart attack. I am thankful I survived the snovember storm with minor damages. I am thankful I am able to spend the day with family and friends and I am healthy and happy. Have a truly fantastic day if alone or with someone, enjoy life be happy!!” — Linda Walter
Kevin Adams reflects…
Here is another that my friend and colleague Kevin Adams has shared today and with his permission we’ll share it with our readers…

“Carrying on with yesterday’s theme of taking advantage of the winter cold, here’s a shot that combines three of my favorite subjects: icicles, star trails, and waterfalls. You don’t see Bridal Veil Falls in the photo, but I’m standing behind it to make this shot.
This is a blend of 35 4-minute exposures at ISO 200 and f/4, using the Nikon D800 and Nikon 14-24mm lens at 19mm. The lighting on the icicles comes from the headlights of a few passing cars.
You would really make my day if you shared this post and liked this page. Also, please check out my website for more cool stuff. www.kadamsphoto.com”
And keeping with the rule of thirds…
Here is a third quote that incorporates the snow.

So, in each of our days may we be reminded of our blessings, and may that provide us with hope, peace and joy. Let us know what is happening in your world.
